Week 1


Day 1 of first week was pretty productive. Probably gonna go downhill from there knowing myself. Not one to keep-at-it for a long period of time. Anyways I set up unity and re-learned the basics. Organized where scripts, assets, etc.. goes. I then automatically shut it down knowing full well I am avoiding the code aspect of the project. 

Day 2 I opened blender and created the beetle low-poly I then rigged it and spent a good 30 minutes weight painting it because life isn't easy and meshes like to connect to bones that have nothing to do with them. I'm not animating it yet I find it unnecessary at the moment I also did some of the map.

Day 3 Feeling lazy ngl. Completed the rest of the map. Had to re-rig and redo my beetle which sucks but got it done. 

Day 4 Finally went on unity - moved all my assets to unity. The face orientation of some of my assets were apparently backwards so had to fix that and reimport it (I reimported 10 times that day).For some reason beetle mesh collison sucked. so I left it for now I made a character creator (with the capsule) setting on a block and gonna put the mechanics on that for now. Got the camera angles and movement down was work but fairly alright. 

Day 5 Have not touched unity to busy with other projects. 

Day 6 Have to fix the clipping on the camera but haven't gotten to it (still on my mind though). Made itch page a while ago. Redid front image of page, making devlog doing other things.

Day 7 - Nah I sleep
